The Story of HMS Iron Duke

​HMS Iron Duke was the lead ship of her class and served as Admiral Jellicoe’s flagship during the Battle of Jutland in 1916 — the largest naval battle of the First World War. Built with the strength and presence expected of a Grand Fleet flagship, she embodied the power and engineering of Britain’s naval dominance.
After decades of service, parts of her original teak were removed during restoration and refit work. This material, seasoned by sea air and history, now lives on through a limited number of handcrafted pens — each one a quiet tribute to the ship and the people who served aboard her.

Craftsmanship & Finish

Every pen is individually hand‑turned on the lathe, shaped with care to preserve the character of the historic teak.
