Handmade pens and keyrings using a pine floor joist from RAF Marham in Norfolk, England.
Opened in August 1916, RAF Marham was pivotal to air defence roles during the First and Second World Wars. It was a military night-landing ground and was handed over to the Royal Flying Corps to defend Norfolk from Zeppelin raids.
51 squadron became the first RFC squadron stationed at Marham in September 1916 flying home defence missions.
It has been the base to many bomber squadrons over the years. Now though, in more peaceable times, it is home to the
F-35B Lightning: a fifth-generation multi-role, stealth combat aircraft flying with 17 squadron and 617 squadron.
