Shipping Policy
Free Shipping (UK only)
There are no shipping charges for items posted within the UK.
For international orders, please contact us first for a quote. (If an order is made from outside the UK and no contact made, the order will be cancelled and full payment refunded).
Dispatch Times
All items are made to order and customers should expect a lead time of approximately 1 week. If an item is required by a specific date please contact us. There are occassions when events beyond our control delay dispatch times. Please be assured that on these occassions you will be contacted immediately. Orders will not be shipped over the weekend.
Postage Options
All pens will be delivered free of charge using Royal Mail's 'Tracked 48' service and a tracking number will be sent to customers.
(Please note, the advertised delivery time for this service on the Royal Mail website is 2 to 3 business days and as such, a delivery will not be confirmed as 'late' until 4 days after posting.)
If an item is required urgently, shipping can be upgraded at checkout to Royal Mail Tracked 24 ( 1 - 2 days) or Royal Mail Special Delivery (1 day).
Any missed deliveries will be taken to your nearest sorting office to await collection. Any undelivered item not collected by you and returned to us will be refunded, less any delivery charges.
There may be occassions when we employ the services of other courier providers. We reserve the right to do this at our discretion.
Damaged Items
Strict checking procedures are in force prior to and during packaging. This ensures that all products, before they leave us, are in perfect condition. Every shipment is packaged correctly to protect the contents from damage in transit.
In the unlikely event an item arrives in a damaged condition, the buyer must sign for the delivery as ‘damaged’. If upon checking the contents they are found to be damaged, please contact us immediately to arrange for a return/replacement.
Photographs would help us at this stage with any subsequent compensation claims.
Lost in Transit
The Royal Mail will not consider items as 'lost' until 10 days after the delivery due date. At which point we will contact the Royal Mail and begin a compensation claim.
Once a compensation claim is successful, Hopping Frog Pens will either offer the customer a full refund or a replacement item.
